| Summary, etc. | Es ya muy numerosa la evidencia empírica acumulada a lo largo de las últimas décadas que demuestra que las personas que presentan algún diagnóstico dentro del espectro de la psicosis, en general, muestran déficits a nivel neurocognitivo, en cognición social y en metacognición. En la actualidad se conoce que estos déficits, junto a otras problemáticas, influyen de forma determinante en la vida de las personas con un diagnóstico de psicosis y, por ello, se constituyen como importantes objetivos a evaluar e intervenir dentro de los procesos de recuperación que se llevan a cabo con estos pacientes. En esta obra, que pretende ser un manual sencillo, se exponen las primordiales definiciones, los déficits que habitualmente se localizan dentro de cada área, los instrumentos que generalmente se emplean para su evaluación y, por último, las técnicas, estrategias o programas más utilizados para el abordaje de estas problemáticas. El libro va dirigido a profesionales de la salud mental que, de una forma u otra, intervengan con personas diagnosticadas de trastorno psicótico y las estén asesorando en sus procesos de recuperación. |
