| Summary, etc. | La investigación y recopilación de los documentos que componen el libro se gestó por Mons. Juan Espona, quien fuera el secretario particular y amigo personal de Mons. Fremiot por más de treinta años. La Profa. Adelaida Bidot tuvo la encomienda de organizar, editar, seleccionar, y dar forma a las múltiples voces que colaboraron con la recomposición de la historia del sacerdote, obispo, gran canciller y religioso cuya encomienda fue poner en práctica y aplicar los resultados del Concilio Vaticano II en la Diócesis y en la Universidad.La publicación está dividida en cuatro partes. ¿En la primera Fremiot Torres Oliver: antes del sacerdocio, se hace un breve recorrido por la infancia y adolescencia del joven Fremiot Torres Oliver, hasta que ingresa en el Seminario de San Juan, resaltando aquellos aspectos que sus familiares más cercanos y algunos conocidos han identificado como ¿señales vocacionales¿ del que, años después se convertiría en el Padre Torres. En la próxima parte, Padre Fremiot Torres Oliver: sus primeros años de sacerdocio, se repasan las gestiones que le tocó liderar como sacerdote adscrito a la Diócesis de Ponce: desde el impacto que fue causando a las personas con quienes trabajaba y asistía en su labor pastoral y evangelizadora, hasta su formación profesional, académica y religiosa. |
