| Summary, etc. | La importancia del libro del doctor Nelson Fred Ramos se hace evidente desde sus primeras páginas, en las que se conectan diversas disciplinas: historia, arquitectura, antropología, lingüistica, economía, metodología, filosofía y a la vez, lo general no se seprar de los empírico; con un lenguaje expositivo atractivo, muchas veces inquietante y movilizador, siempre descubridor y deshacedor de entuertos, progresistas, que supera sus objetivos concernientes al surgimiento de la ciudad de San Juan y se expanden a una región cada vez más importante y decisoria : el Caribe, en la cual aunque el objeto del análisis lo constituye la capital de Puerto Rico, se valora lo general de la región e incluso del surgimiento de las ciudades en otras partes del mundo. |
