| Summary, etc. | El objetivo de investigación fue indagar la maneraen que un grupo de puertorriqueñas significan su condición de fibromialgia . Esta investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo de cortefenomenológico. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a las participantes seleccionadas por disponibilidad.Se utilizó el Modelo Wolcott (1994). Según los resultados las participantes presentaron síntomas depresivos y ansiosos entre otros malestares emocionales.Se halló que las pacientes intentaban amortiguar el dolor utilizando mecanismos de afrontamiento. |
