| Summary, etc. | Se ha identificado desconocimiento en profesionales de la educación que trabajan o tienen acceso a niños con Trastornos del Espectro Autismo (TEA) en PUereto Rico. UNICEF (2012) concluyó que el nivel de aceptación o rechazo de los compañeros de clase del niño con autismo es relevante para una inclusión positiva dentro de loa salones regulares de clases.El propósito del siguiente estudio fue identificar la necesidad de crear un programa dirigido a orientar a niños típidcos respewcto a los Trastornos del Espectro Autismo. La presente investigación parte con la realización de un estudio de necesidades. Los participantes del estudio fueron 25 maestros de los salones de autismo y 71 padres de los niños diagnosticados. De los resultados se derivó una necesidad de implementar un programa psicoeducativo de inclusión social en las escuelas públicas de Puerto Rico. |
