| Summary, etc. | Esta investigación exploró la apreciación de la calidad de vida de un grupo de mujeres diagnosticadas con fibromialgia. La investigación siguió una metodología cualitativa con enfoque fenomenológico. Se utilizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas dirigidas a féminas de 18 años. El marco teórico fue el Modelo Biopsicosocial de Engel. Los resultados reflejaron que los procesos de afrontamiento en el aspecto físico y psicológico de la calidad de vida eran más difíciles para las participantes debido el deterioro físico y emocional provocado por la sintomatología de la fibromialgia. En conclusión , el experimentar una buena calidad de vida dependerá de que la persona pueda recibir una atención integral. |
