En la primera parte, "un corazón que ve", se analizan estos problemas desde un punto de vista sociológico, psicológico y ético, mostrando los traumas y dificultades que generan y sus consecuencias sociales. En la segunda, "actuar en consecuencia", se presentan iniciativas concretas llevadas a cabo en diversos países para resolver o paliar sus repercusiones.<br/><br/>Por estos motivos, nos encontramos ante un libro novedoso e interesante, pues no solo ofrece argumentación teórica, sino abundante información y documentación sobre el impacto personal y social de estos dramas, así como iniciativas que han sido puestas en práctica con eficacia en diversos países para superarlos.<br/><br/>Livio Melina es Presidente del Pontificio Instituto Juan Pablo II de Roma. Es un conocido experto internacional en teología moral, en el que cuenta con numerosas publicaciones como: La conoscenza morale (1987); Morale tra crisi e rinnovamento (1993), traducido al español y al francés; Corso di Bioetica (1996); Cristo e il dinamismo dell'agire (2001) y Sharing in Christ's Virtues (2001). Con José Noriega y Juan José Pérez-Soba ha editado en Ediciones Palabra La plenitud del obrar cristiano (2001); Una luz para el obrar (2006) y Caminar a la luz del amor (2007) y ha publicado numerosos artículos en revistas científicas.<br/><br/>Carl A. Anderson es padre de cinco hijos. Es el Caballero Supremo de los "Caballeros de Colón" y Vicepresidente de la Sección estadounidense del Pontificio Instituto Juan Pablo II, donde es profesor de políticas familiares. Es miembro del Pontificio Consejo para los Laicos y de la Pontificia Academia para la Vida, Consultor del Pontificio Consejo Justicia y Paz y del Pro-Life Comitee de la Conferencia Episcopal Católica de los Estados Unidos. Sus últimas publicaciones son: A Civilisation of Love. What Every Catholic Can Do to Transform the World (2007), Called to Love. Approaching John Paul II's Theology of the Body (2009)". |
