| Summary, etc. | La hipótesis de esta investigación fue que la Universidad Católica de Santa María es una institución que en su interés de fidelidad al ideal católico se fue ajustando a la normativa del Código de Derecho Canónico con el propósito de ser regida por la misma Iglesia , hasta convertirse en lom que hoy conocemos como la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico. El valor de esta investigación radica en el presentar lo que ha sido el crecimiento de la educación en Puerto Rico con un énfasis en el sector católico. Al investigar sobre esta institución católica no solo se estudio la historia de la educación en Puerto Rico, sino también la historia de la Iglesia en Puerto Rico. |
