| Summary, etc. | Este proyecto de investigación tuvo el propósito de evaluar las actitudes del profesional de enfermería que laboran en un hospital del área oeste de Puerto Rico y en relación con su formación religiosa. La población estuvo constituida por profesionles de enfermería.La muestra fue seleccionada por conveniencia.La investigación se fundamenta en la teoría "Final tranquilo de la vida " de Cornelia M. Ruland- Shirley M. Moore (1998) y la teoría del "Cuidado Humano" (Watson ,1982) .El instrumento para evaluar las actitudes fue un cuestionario titulado Posición de los enfermeros (a) frente al paciente moribundo.Los hallazgos más significativos reflejan una actitud promedio de los enfermeros frente al paciente moribundo. Mostró , además, que el mayor porcentaje de los profesionales profesan la religión católica. Se mostró una correlación sifnificativa y positiva entre la variable de religión católica y la percepción positiva ante la muerte de los pacientes. |
