| Summary, etc. | ¿Sabías que las niñas a partir de los 6 años se sienten menos inteligentes que los niños? ¿Y que los chicos subestiman las capacidades de sus compañeras en la universidad? La culpa es de los estereotipos: los juegos y referentes culturales entrenan a las niñas y niños sobre cómo tienen que comportarse, expresarse y relacionarse. Colores rosas, muñecas, cocinitas y princesas. Colores azules, barcos piratas, fútbol y superhéroes. Proponemos dos escenarios distintos con perversas consecuencias: las niñas deberán ser sumisas, tranquilas y obedientes, y los niños no podrán llorar y ser sensibles, deberán ser fuertes y valientes. ¿No sería mejor que fueran libres para sentir, expresarse y actuar? Necesitamos niñas y niños con conciencia y compromiso, que defiendan en público la igualdad. Que tengan capacidad de pensar más allá de lo convencional y no se dejen influir por los modelos que a menudo se muestran en la televisión, el cine, la literatura, las redes sociales... Para construir una sociedad justa e igualitaria, nuestras criaturas tienen que ser poderosas, justas, solidarias y felices. Para todo esto, es necesario educar en el feminismo. |
