| Summary, etc. | "El texto Pedro Albizu Campos: la espiritualidad de un revolucionario, del Dr. Luis Gilberto Collazo, expone de manera brillante aspectos de la visión política-filosófica-ideológica del dirigente nacionalista puertorriqueño no abordados hasta ahora por investigador alguno. Como hombre de profunda fe y de sólidas convicciones patrióticas, el autor logra hilvanar la dimensión espiritual de la vida y las acciones del Maestro Albizu con la extraordinaria aportación de éste al proceso de toma de conciencia del pueblo puertorriqueño durante la primera mitad del siglo XX.<br/><br/>Al inicio de la obra Collazo apunta que “nuestra tarea es destacar mediante un estudio académico sistemático, que en efecto la espiritualidad significó para Albizu el fundamento de su vocación política, y que la relación de ésta con su gesta libertaria constituyó la superación de la tendencia de enajenar la misma de lo político”. El autor demuestra que en el caso de Albizu Campos se trata de un ser excepcional, de un hombre cuya espiritualidad y defensa de los más altos valores determinarían el rumbo de una vida llena de sacrificios, precisamente como consecuencia de su determinación de participar generosamente en la agenda de liberación política de su país".
