En las dos primeras partes se han sintetizado los problemas comunes a los signos de puntuación, las letras mayúsculas, las diferentes consonantes y las partes de la oración. Los apéndices que figuran a continuación incluyen los vocablos que hoy se suelen emplear erróneamente, términos latinos, extranjerismos –con los significados que se han impuesto en nuestra lengua–, siglas, abreviaturas y gentilicios, mientras que en las recomendaciones finales se previene contra expresiones tópicas o forzadas de las que muchas veces se abusa.
