| Summary, etc. | El entusiasmo y la energía que Carmen Alicia Morales pone en todo lo que emprende se refleja en este libro que ahora ofrece a sus lectores. Una obra realizada a partir de un intenso trabajo de investigación en el que se han combinado los recursos de la Psicología con los de la Historia. La autora, partiendo de una clara teoría que se expone en el primer capítulo, aborda la psicobiografía de Isabel I de Castilla siguiendo el transcurrir vital de esta destacada mujer a lo largo de las distintas etapas de su vida, desde el nacimiento en Madrigal de las Altas Torres hasta su muerte en Medina del Campo. Para realizarlo ha visitado archivos y bibliotecas, ha utilizado documentos originales y escritos de otros historiadores, y sobre todo ha recorrido los lugares isabelinos. Es en esta parte de su trabajo donde queda patente la agudeza y la originalidad investigadora de la autora, que ha sabido realizar ese viaje por muy diferentes lugares de la Castilla del siglo XV con una mirada atenta y un oído abierto a los sonidos del entorno.
