25 casas que muestran la diversidad de la arquitectura del Mediterráneo. Análisis de las características geográficas y climáticas de la zona que determinan la arquitectura. Desde casas construidas con materiales locales hasta aquellas que usan los elementos innovadores. Un homenaje a la arquitectura sostenible con unos ejemplos cuidadosamente escogidos. Ya se encuentren en Marruecos, España o Francia, todas las casas que se incluyen tienen en común que muestran un respeto por el entorno y las tradiciones constructivas que a lo largo de los siglos se han desarrollado en el Mediterráneo. Al mismo tiempo, las 25 viviendas presentadas se caracterizan por hacer una reinterpretación muy personal del estilo de esta zona. El texto introductorio analiza la evolución de la arquitectura en esta zona y aborda las obras más representativas de la modernidad, como la casa E-1027, de Eileen Gray, en el sur de Francia, o la casa Malaparte, de Adalberto Libera.
