La vivienda colectiva ha sido un fértil campo de experimentación durante todo el siglo XX y seguirá siendo un tema candente durante el siglo XXI. Los cambios en las formas de vida, la evolución tecnológica y la necesidad de aumentar la densidad de las ciudades han sido algunos de los motivos que han propiciado que los arquitectos del siglo XX investigasen el tema de la vivienda colectiva de forma exhaustiva. Este libro presenta una serie de proyectos representativos de vivienda plurifamiliar, tanto de bloques de vivienda como de agrupaciones de menor densidad. Se trata de una colección de ejemplos que es referencia indispensable tanto para los estudiantes como para los profesionales en activo. Cada proyecto se ilustra mediante fotografías, plantas, secciones y alzados que permiten una comprensión pormenorizada de los edificios. El orden cronológico en la presentación de los proyectos permite visualizar la evolución de la vivienda colectiva y las influencias de unos proyectos sobre otros. |
