<br/>La periferia como representación del "capitalismo tardío" del Occidente finisecular constituye el marco histórico de este proyecto. La periferia pasa a ser, dentro de este contexto económico e histórico, un lugar estratégico para el capitalismo tardío global en fase de formación. Dividido en dos partes, la primera propone analizar la visibilidad a posteriori de este imperativo, utilizar una recién adquirida perspectiva histórica para observar los productos de este proceso de fijación significativa. La segunda parte se ocupará de la rehabilitación o reutilización del concepto de periferia. Una vez el concepto de la periferia pasa a considerarse como caduco, es posible reciclarlo y reutilizarlo, de modo que resolución prepositiva "alrededor de" pase a ser una proposición teórica que otorgue nuevos significados al concepto y que explore sus posibilidades. |
